Black Mountain cares about giving back to our community. Below are a few of the causes that we are proud to be a part of.
CASA volunteers are the champions of foster children in the Oregon court system. Appointed by judges to watch over and advocate for abused and neglected children, CASA workers make sure that the children they serve are not lost or forgotten within the social service system. Volunteers stay with their case until it is closed - frequently, the CASA workers are the one permanent adult presence in the lives of the foster kids.

The Gladstone Food Pantry is a regional shopping style pantry, serving families from all over the tri-county area. The need for nutritious food has become an issue facing 3 out of 5 families and seniors. Some have to make the hard choices between medicine, housing or food! The pantry is there to help relieve some of that burden. Please volunteer or donate to the Gladstone Food Pantry, or other pantries in your area.
