Use a cordless barcode reader and laptop – in combination with BMS Mobile Inventory software to easily track the location of not only your fixed assets but your very valuable non-capitalized assets
Audio Confirmation - If your Lap top has a sound card, the system issues vocal “Item Scanned” statement so moving to next item can be done with confidence
Minimal Entry Required - System allows manual entry of tag # if barcode tag or barcode scanner is not available
Fast and Easy - Provides portability and ease of use without buying more expensive handheld scanner systems (assumes you already own a laptop that can be used occasionally for this purpose)
Implementation - The Inventory Module can be added anytime after implementing BMS Fixed Asset system
Reporting - Reports provide list of items found in different locations than what is indicated by the asset record, invalid tags list, inventory of items by location and tag, and changes you make for any asset location
